In the province of Utrecht, there are over one hundred castles. Some are no more than ruins, others are fully restored. You'll regularly encounter the following three castles on your motorcycle. They are beautifully restored and definitely worth a visit: 1. Amerongen Castle 2. De Haar Castle in Haarzuilens 3. Stadskasteel Oudean (with brewery)

The cathedral tower is the pride and joy of the city of Utrecht. Park your motorcycle at the foot of the tower and climb the 465 steps to a height of over 112 meters. Here you have a breathtaking view of the entire city and the region. Then have a cup of coffee on a terrace next to the Dom Tower and don't forget to take a nice motorcycle selfie!

Amersfoort is a well-preserved medieval city with sturdy city gates and a thick wall around the old center. The wall houses from the 13th century are the best known sights of the city, but don't forget to take a picture of yourself with your motorcycle in front of the Amersfoort Kei.

Every year in February, all motorcycle enthusiasts gather in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Here, the motorcycle fair is held. In several halls in the Jaarbeurs complex, you will find all brands with their latest models, travel organizations, motorcycle clubs, clothing, tools and all kinds of information about renting, buying and insuring motorcycles. Utrecht is a fine province for a ride on the motorcycle. The nicest way to get to know the province is this 194-kilometre round trip. The route starts in Elst in the far southeast of Utrecht. You'll get to know the Utrecht Ridge, but also the Loosdrecht Lakes, and you'll follow the meandering Lek River from Schoonhoven back to Elst by motorcycle.

This route is less than 100 kilometers and can easily be done in a morning or afternoon. You will ride through the beautiful landscape of the Utrecht Ridge and the lateral moraine landscape of Het Gooi.

On the border of the provinces of North Holland and Utrecht lies the Gooi region. In combination with the Vecht region of Utrecht, this area offers a beautiful 137-kilometre route. You ride through the green surroundings of Hilversum, Blaricum and Laren but you also drive along the Gooi Lake and the route takes you on the most beautiful small roads around the Vinkeveen lakes.
