Motorcycling in Limburg feels like a motorcycle vacation abroad. The southernmost province of our country has a special character. You discover this already when you slowly drive south and you encounter more and more hills. The unique dialect of the Limburgers and the gastronomic hospitality ensure that you as a motorcyclist will quickly fall in love with this green province.
Motoshare makes it possible, together with OHRA, ANWB and KNMV, to rent a motorcycle from a private person in Limburg. As a renter, you choose from unique motorcycles from private owners who would like to introduce you to the beauty of their province and the character of their motorcycle.
While the rest of the Netherlands has hardly any undulations in the landscape, in Limburg you quickly ride in a beautiful hilly landscape with wonderfully winding roads. Along the way you will find cozy cafes and restaurants, often housed in centuries-old buildings such as farms and monasteries. Along the way you can enjoy the most beautiful views of the green landscape. Limburg is therefore a popular province for motorcyclists. We put three highlights in the province in a row
At the top of the Vaalserberg lies the only three-country point in our country. Here the Netherlands borders Belgium and Germany. You can take a break there and enjoy an unforgettable view from the Boudewijn tower. At a height of fifty meters, you have a view of our neighboring countries and the hills of southern Limburg.
Just south of Roermond, in the heart of Limburg, lies the largest interconnected water sports area in our country: the Maasplassen. The area has a water surface of over 3000 hectares. You can swim, sail, row and fish. A motorcycle tour along the banks of the lakes and canals in this area is also unforgettable!
Maastricht is undoubtedly the most Burgundian city in our country. In the historic center you will find beautiful stores, excellent restaurants and cozy cafes. Cruise with your motorcycle along the banks of the Meuse River and enjoy a cup of coffee and the view of the 13th -century Saint Servatius Bridge. On the outskirts of the city are the caves of the Sint Pietersberg. Also worth a visit!
In 2016, the final rally for Harley owners (Harley Owners Group) was organized for the first time in the hills of South Limburg. A unique three-day event with music, puzzle rides, biker market and flag parade. Check the site for this year's ''end of season'' rally:

What is better at the end of a motorcycle day just relax on a terrace. Enjoying a drink, watching and being watched and having a nice chat. The terrace is important for motorcyclists. Our favorite motorcycle terraces in Limburg are listed below.

You feel immediately at home on the terrace of this cafe on the market in Venlo. Especially if you order a cup of coffee with a vlaaipunt. The flan is baked by pastry chef Lamers, who has been baking flans for Venlo (and the surrounding area) since 1888.
